Lake Map

Kingfisher Trout Lake has the perfect conditions for year-round fly-fishing. The water varies in depth, up to 20ft in places, with plenty of ledges where trout patrol and feed. These hot spots are constantly changing, depending on light and weather conditions, providing the angler with endless interest and variety.

Access is good all around the lake, with deep water close to the banks, which are landscaped to allow plenty of room for back-casting.

Silt traps, bypass ditches, weed control, and a powerful aeration system provide the correct ecological balance, ensuring clear water of even temperature all year round, prolific insect life, and fit, sporting fish.

The comfortable, centrally-heated lodge overlooks the lake, and you can enjoy tea/coffee or light refreshment at any time of the day.

Kingfisher Trout Lake offers good sport to satisfy the most demanding fisherman, and there is expert tuition (by arrangement) and advice for beginners and the less experienced.

Disabled anglers are thoughtfully provided for with easy access to lake, lodge, and loos, and friendly help if needed. Casting platforms are designed with wheelchairs in mind.

Families are welcome, and non-anglers can relax and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

First-class fishing, beautiful countryside, and a friendly atmosphere make Kingfisher Trout Lake the place to be for good sport and relaxation, all year round.
